About RheinMain University of Applied Sciences

The RheinMain University of Applied Sciences, originally known as the University of Applied Sciences Wiesbaden, was founded in 1971 in Wiesbaden, Germany. It is a public university and a part of the Rhine-Main-Neckar IT Cluster, sometimes known as the “Silicon Valley of Europe.” In 1971, the University of Applied Sciences Wiesbaden was established. It was renamed RheinMain University of Applied Sciences on September 1, 2009. In 2013, the former Geisenheim campus became a distinct university. Approximately 14000 students have registered as of now, with 14 % of them being international.

Places to visit near the University

Wiesbaden, the state capital of Hesse, is a spa town built on mineral springs that have been used since the Romans. The city possesses the regal grandeur and opulent atmosphere of a 19th-century resort.
