Ruhr-Universität Bochum is a non-profit public research university.It was founded in the year 1962. Located in the Ruhr area, Bochum is one of the strongest research universities in North Rhine-Westphalia. The university believes in collaboration with all levels of scholarships and research, which makes them unique. The university has 21 faculties and 42,600 students from over 130 countries.
