This tag contains all the information regarding qurantine rules 2021. Before getting into Germany, it is very crucial to know about what are the quarantine rules at present in Germany. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, restrictions are made for entry into Germany from many countries.

Based on the data provided by the Federal Ministry of Interior, Building and Home Affairs, entry to Germany is permitted for the people who are coming from European Union Member States and Schengen-associated countries, including Iceland, Norway, Switzerland, and Liechtenstein.

EU and Schengen Area countries are placed in the high-incidence areas and people who are coming from these countries have to register online and provide Covid-19 negative results carried within 48 hours before entry in Germany. Additionally, they have to stay self-isolated for 10 days in Germany. For the people who are required to submit a negative PCR test, the result must not be older than 72 hours. The testing document must in either German, English, French, Italian or Spanish.

NOTE: The German Government has made some changes to its quarantine rules. People who have fully vaccinated or have fully recovered from Covid-19 can skip testing and quarantine requirements when entering Germany.
