TUK

The TU Kaiserlautern (TUK) located in Kaiserslautern, Germany, is a research university and it was founded as part of the Twin University of Trier-Kaiserslautern on 13 July 1970 by the State of Rheinland-Palatinate, meaning that in 1975 the Twin University was divided into two separate universities: the University of Trier and the University of Kaiserslautern. TU Kaiserslautern’s green campus next to the Palatinate forest has around 14,500 students 2,500 employees and 210 professors who learn work and teach in 12 departments.
