About the University
Charite-Medical University of Berlin was founded in the year 1710. It is the joint medical university of Humboldt University and Free University Berlin. It was ranked one of the best of over 1000 hospitals in Germany from 2012 to 2020 and in 2019, 2020, 2021 it is ranked sixth best hospital in the world and best in Europe. It is also famous for its excellence in teaching and training.
