The University of Rostock is a public university located in the state of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern in Germany. It was founded in 1419 and is one of the oldest universities. The University of Rostock operates a hospital having several teaching and research institutes since the faculty of medicine is among the biggest faculties of the university. Over 1000 international students enroll in the University of Rostock per year making 16.9% of the total student population.
