University of Applied Sciences Düsseldorf (HSD) is located in Düsseldorf city and was established on August 1, 1971, when many famous regional educational institutions were merged. HSD is now one of the major universities of applied sciences in the German Bundesland of North Rhine-Westphalia, with a broad and multidisciplinary curriculum. More than 11,000 students are taught by almost 200 professors in 40-degree programs across seven colleges. It’s a public institution with around12% of international students.
