About Fritz Lipmann Institute
Fritz Lipmann Institute was founded in the year 1991. It is the first national research institute located in Jena, Germany. This institute is focusing on biomedical research on human aging, a multifactorial process controlled by environmental and genetic factors. This institute aims to provide a knowledge basis for the development of future therapies which extend the health span during aging.
