New 10-Euro Amsterdam-Berlin Train and More Across Europe

The Dutch train operator Flywise is set to revolutionize European rail travel with the introduction of its new GoVolta services. Launching in the spring of 2025, these services aim to provide affordable and extensive connectivity between major European cities. By establishing Flywise as the “easyJet of the rails.” Let’s delve into Dutch Rail company’s New 10-Euro Amsterdam-Berlin Train and More Across Europe.

GoVolta to Launch Daily Amsterdam-Berlin Train

In a bid to make rail travel more accessible, GoVolta will launch several new long-distance train services connecting key cities across Europe. According to The Man in Seat 61, a renowned international train enthusiast, GoVolta’s daily services will include routes from Amsterdam to Berlin and Amsterdam to Copenhagen. Additionally, there will be a service from Amsterdam to Basel running three times a week. Which will be starting in May, June, and July of 2025 respectively.

Expanding Across Europe

The International Railway Journal has reported that GoVolta plans to further expand its network in 2026. The company aims to offer 20 routes across Europe, including new services between Amsterdam and Paris and Amsterdam and Munich. This expansion is part of GoVolta’s broader vision to enhance European connectivity with affordable travel options.

Affordable Travel: Amsterdam-Berlin Train for Just 10 Euros

GoVolta’s Amsterdam-Berlin service will be one of the standout offerings, with tickets starting at just 10 euros. The journey will begin at Amsterdam Centraal and make stops in Deventer, Hengelo, Bad Bentheim, Osnabrück, and Hannover before reaching its final destination at Berlin Brandenburg Airport (BER). Despite the low fares, passengers should note that the trips will take approximately two hours longer. When compared by those offered by Deutsche Bahn, Germany’s national railway company. In line with its budget airline model, GoVolta will charge extra for additional services such as seat reservations, mirroring the add-on pricing strategies of low-cost airlines.

GoVolta’s entry into the European rail market is poised to offer travelers a cost-effective alternative for long-distance travel across the continent. By spring 2025, passengers will have the opportunity to explore new destinations at a fraction of the current costs, making rail travel more accessible and attractive.
