This category contains all the news regarding COVID Restrictions in Germany and all other local news. The COVID-19 pandemic has impacted the entire world for the past two years. According to current statistics, Germany has 2,97,845 new cases, 18, 287, 986 confirmed cases, and 126,646 confirmed fatalities. The German disease prevention and control agency, RKI, indicated that the government has chosen to relax its travel restrictions since the Omicron version does not have the same significant health consequences as the other variations. As a result, the German Covid restriction rule has been liberalized.

Restrictions on Entry:
Entry restrictions across the EU are still in effect. The Federal Ministry of the Interior and Community Affairs in Germany is in charge of enforcing these regulations (BMI).
Travel Restrictions
Countries having a high prevalence of SARS-CoV-2 virus types of concern have a travel prohibition in effect (referred to as areas of the variant of concern). Transport businesses, like airlines and railroads, are prohibited from transporting people from certain countries to Germany. German citizens and persons with a current right to reside in Germany, as well as their spouses, partners, and minor children. Persons catching a connecting flight should not leave the transit zone of a passenger airport, and a few other special cases.
