About the university

Dresden International University (DIU) is a privately funded university in Dresden, Germany. It is a nationally recognized private university, which offers vocational and part-time Bachelor’s and Master’s programs. The university’s courses, which were established in 2003, are designed to meet the needs of professionals. Education, communication and culture, health service, engineering, medicine, and economic law and management are among the five subject areas in which the University excels. There are currently over 2,900 students enrolled in 38 different courses.

Courses offered by the university

There are five main divisions at the university, each with its own set of courses. It offers a diverse range of UG and PG study options, as well as seminars, courses, and congresses, under these five faculties. Logistics (MBA), Preventive Medicine (M.Sc.), Human Communication (MA), and Chiropractic are just a few of the interesting courses offered by the university (BSc.). International applicants, however, are only offered four postgraduate programs: Logistics (MBA), Clinical Research (M.Sc. ), Preventive Medicine (M.Sc. ), and Non-Destructive Testing (M.Sc). (M.Sc.).  DIU’s campus is in the city of Dresden, and it has modern facilities.

The student hostel is 20-25 minutes from Dresden International University and is located in Dresden-Strehlen, Hildebrandstraße. There are 225 apartments on 14 floors in the hostel. In addition, the Dresden International University has a partnership with ‘The Student Hotel’ on Prager Straße in Dresden. This provides affordable lodging. Moreover, student apartments/flats cost 268-350 € per month and Hotel costs 460-590 € per month.
