What is IELTS?

Uses of IELTS General and IELTS Academic

IELTS General:

The IELTS General exam tests your use of everyday English. It is suitable for secondary education, migration, or work experience.

        • Secondary education includes anything below degree levels such as school or college.
        • Migration includes destination countries such as the UK, Australia, Canada, or New Zealand.

IELTS Academic:

IELTS Academic is more suitable for students wanting to pursue their higher education in any foreign country. However, they can also work there.

        • Undergraduate and postgraduate programs at university are included in higher education.
