About International Psychoanalytic University Berlin

The International Psychoanalytic University Berlin (IPU) is a state-recognized private institute that is owned and managed by a non-profit representative legal entity. The “Gesellschaft zur Förderung der universitären Psychoanalyse mbH” formed it in 2009. The Foundation to Promote University Psychoanalysis is accredited by the German Council of Science and Humanities, in the Wissenschaftsrat.
