Mainz University of Applied Sciences is one of the youngest universities in Germany, founded in 1971 and is located in Mainz, Germany. Its origin can be traced back to 1757 but has been independent since 1996. The university is focused on research and development with diversity and professional competencies. - Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz Botanical: Also known as Botanischer Garten Mainz, the garden was created between 1946-1955 and is located on the university campus. It houses steppe plants, arboretum, systematic garden, greenhouses, and alpine garden, etc.
- Rheinsteig: It’s an expansive hiking route with views mainly elevated and stretches up to 320 kilometers. It also runs parallel to the Rheinhöhenweg Trail and Rheinburgenweg Trail.
