Mainz University of Applied Sciences is one of the youngest universities in Germany, founded in 1971 and is located in Mainz, Germany.   • Gutenberg Museum: It’s a museum of the history of printing and one of the oldest museums in the world. Its located opposite the cathedral in the old part of Mainz and is named after Johannes Gutenberg, the inventor of printing from movable metal type in Western Europe.   • Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz Botanical: Also known as Botanischer Garten Mainz, the garden was created between 1946-1955 and is located on the university campus. It houses steppe plants, arboretum, systematic garden, greenhouses, and alpine garden, etc.
  • Rheinsteig: It’s an expansive hiking route with views mainly elevated and stretches up to 320 kilometers. It also runs parallel to the Rheinhöhenweg Trail and Rheinburgenweg Trail.
