On April 1, 1992, the Hochschule Merseburg (HoMe) was established. But the site has been a place of higher learning since 1954. Here was where the “Carl Schorlemmer” Technical College was until 1993. Currently, 28 structures or portions of buildings that have undergone major renovations are located inside the 44-hectare region. It offers a lot of open space and sports facilities as well.
