About the Hochschule

The Mittweida University of Applied Sciences has been synonymous with internationality since its founding in 1867. With approximately 80,000 graduates from more than 40 countries, the university can proudly look back on a successful 150-year history. Mittweida University of Applied Sciences offers over 50 degree programmes of international standing to its over 7,000 students. The five faculties provide Bachelor’s, Master’s, and Diploma programmes.

The motto of the small town in the federal state of Saxony is “Mittweida is what you make of it.” Private student parties are especially popular because Mittweida’s nightlife is limited. Every evening during the week, you are welcome to visit the student club.
