It offers about 52 bachelor’s and master’s degree programs in Engineering, Natural Sciences, Information Technology, Business Administration, and Agriculture. University provides courses for both full-time students and working adults. It also caters to those who wish to combine vocational training and academic pursuits.

There are three paths to the MSc in Systems Engineering and Engineering Management. Electronics, Mechanical, and Mechatronics are the three categories. The Electronics pathway requires students to take two electronic modules. Students who choose the Mechanical path will also take two mechanical modules. One mechanical and one electronic module will be taken by students on the Mechatronics pathway.
This course’s teaching strategy aims to produce graduates who are ready to work in engineering-based industrial or research organizations and who possess all of the necessary skills.

House and accommodation

The cost of lodging varies greatly. Rooms in Hagen’s student residence hall can be had for 180 Euros per month, but private sector prices are much higher. Foreign students can usually find a room in the student residence halls in Hagen, Iserlohn, or Soest. These halls are frequently full due to the growing number of international students at the Fachhochschule Südwestfalen.

Cost of living

About the city

Iserlohn is located in North Rhine-Westphalia, between the urbanized Ruhr region and the more rural Sauerland region. The Roosters’ hometown pride is evident not only at ice hockey games but also every day at 6 p.m. The “Westphalia Song” will be heard from the bell tower on the plaza at the end of Unnaer Strasse at that time. Iserlohn has a cosmopolitan feel to it, and you’ll be warmly welcomed. You can also take a quick train ride to other Rhine-Ruhr region multicultural cities.

The fact that BiTS established a branch campus in Iserlohn demonstrates the city’s international character; BiTS’ other two campuses are in the major cities of Berlin and Hamburg. The “entrepreneurial university’s” students organize the “Campus Symposium,” an international economics conference that attracts well-known speakers from around the world – a fantastic opportunity to network. Internationally renowned speakers such as Kofi Anan and Al Gore have previously spoken at the event.
