About Stralsund University of Applied Sciences

Stralsund University of Applied Sciences is a non-profit, young, and innovative university. It was founded in the year 1991. Located in Stralsund in the state of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, the university attracts students through excellent research and topical teaching in the fields of electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, computer engineering, and business administration. Currently, the university has 2,400 students.

The University offers students flats called Holzhausen. It is located on the university campus and is managed by Studierendenwerk. The university has not any tuition fees. All students have to pay 105 Euro for the first semester. From the second semester onwards, students have to pay 88 Euro per semester. For ERASMUS+ students, the cost will be 85 Euro per semester. The cost of living will be 550 Euro-700 Euro per month depending on students’ lifestyles.
