Stuttgart Media University or Hochschule der Medien is a public university located in Stuttgart, the state of Baden-Württemberg. It was founded in the year 2001. Funded by the state of Baden-Württemberg, this university teaches media specialists. This university was founded 60 years ago initially as a training center for public libraries. Now, this university has expanded its range of subjects and tasks and developed into Germany’s largest young library and information center.
