The Universität der Bundeswehr München is a public university in Muchen that was created in 1973. It is divided into two sections: the university area and the university area for applied sciences. The Universität der Bundeswehr München is one of only a few campus universities in Germany. It is located on the 140-acre grounds of a former military airbase on the outskirts of Munich and contains all of the facilities that students and lecturers need for successful learning, teaching, and research. Despite the school’s vastness, students may walk from the lecture rooms to the major campus amenities and the cafeteria in a matter of minutes. It is a contemporary institution with a lovely green environment on the outskirts of Munich, the capital city of Bavaria.
