The University of Bremen, established in 1971 is a well-known university with around 20,000 students and more than 100-degree programs. They were among the 11 Universities that held the title “University of Excellence” from 2012-2019 for its future concept “Ambiguous and Agile”. Additionally, encompasses 2300 academics of which 43% are female; among them, 230 are professors of which 32% are female.
