Eligibility Criteria to Study MBBS in Germany

For Indian students planning to study medicine in Germany, there are several rules and regulations. However, they should meet the following criteria to study in Germany:

    • Students require to complete 13 years of education before enrolling in the MBBS program. If you are from a country where there are 12 years of High schooling, then you need to enroll in the preparatory course first.
    • Indian students who have completed their secondary level of education in contemporary Biology may apply for MBBS in Germany.
    • Students with a grade point average of 60% or higher in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology are preferred.
      He or she must be at least 17 years old.
    • TOEFL and IELTS scores are required.
    • One must pass the TestDaf test. While several German universities may require an entrance test.
    • DSH (Deutsche Sprachprufung fur den Hochschulzugang) or other German language tests such as GDS and KDS are required.
    • A minimum C1 level is required, but a B2 level in German is generally expected. If a student enrolls in the preparatory course, a B1 German Certificate is required.
    • A student should have cleared the NEET exam with minimum required marks.
