Housing and Accommodation
If students have decided to stay in the dorms, private accommodation prices in Aachen depend on location. A single bedroom apartment in the heart of the city is around €380/month whereas outside the center it is way cheaper, around €350/month. At the beginning of the semester, it is particularly hard to find an available place, especially at a reasonable price. Thus, it’s wiser to start looking for a room at least two to three months before coming to Aachen. At RWTH, some of the student advising services are available in providing housing information.
