About Kehl University of Applied Sciences

Kehl University of Applied Sciences is one of two Baden-Württemberg’s public administration universities. It is a Non-profit Public-private university. It was built in 1971. The university is located in the small German town of Kehl. The first university is already in Kehl, in the Ortenau area, while the second is the University of Public Administration and Finance in Ludwigsburg.

The university’s students work as civil servants (government inspector candidates) in Baden-Württemberg, where they are prepared for a career in the higher non-technical administrative service. There are presently 1366 students registered, 991 of them are international students. The course culminates in academic graduation with a Bachelor’s degree. The University now employs 42 full-time academics and another 250 visiting lecturers.
