The University of Kaiserslautern
TUK located in Kaiserslautern, Germany, is a research university and it was founded as part of the Twin University of Trier-Kaiserslautern on 13 July 1970 by the State of Rheinland-Palatinate, meaning that in 1975 the Twin University was divided into two separate universities. TU Kaiserslautern’s green campus next to the Palatinate forest has around 14,500 students 2,500 employees and 210 professors who learn work and teach in 12 departments. Kaiserslautern has become a very strong research player with excellent teaching in Germany over the past decades. The TUK campus offers both students and scientists an optimal learning and working environment to face the key challenges and questions for making the bright future.
