About Akkon-Hochschule für Humanwissenschaften

Akkon-Hochschule für Humanwissenschaften or Akkon University of Human Sciences is the first university for human sciences based in Berlin, Germany. It was established in 2009. It is the state-approved university of the Johanniter Unfall-Hilfe eV (JUH). It offers multidisciplinary courses in nursing and medical, education, and social affairs, along with humanitarian help and civil protection. Around 900 students are enrolled out of which 4% are international students.
