About the University

FH Schmalkalden University of Applied Sciences started with the name of “Royal Technical College for Iron and Steel Industry Schmalkaden” in the year 1902 on 1st July. On 1st October 1991, they changed from” Royal Technical College for Iron and Steel Industry Schmalkaden” to “University “. The University of Applied Science has received many international awards. It is well known for  Mechanical Engineering from the time the university was established, later other courses were added. This university has all-new, modern laboratory buildings and heigh qualified faculties.
