How to overcome student visa rejection – Germany: Everything you need to know?

When you put all of your effort, time, and resources into trying to get a visa—one of the papers required for students to study in Germany—and are unsuccessful, it is upsetting. Many students believe that their ambition of attending one of Germany’s top colleges has been dashed after receiving a German visa rejection.

We all have big changes in our lives that are more or less a second chance, so never give up on your aspirations, according to an old proverb. There are many possible causes of visa rejection, some of which are listed here along with solutions.

Reasons for Visa Rejection

1. Abandoned documents:

      - (Optional: If there is a time gap between your undergraduate and master’s degrees)
      - Current 3-6 month pay slips and salary account statements
      - Work experience letter from your company (Many individuals skipped this step, and the embassy had no issues.) However, if your company issues one, I advise carrying it.)

2. Lack of communication abilities:

For the majority of students, formal communication is difficult, and this might lead to visa refusal. Therefore, the ideal course of action to solve this issue is to practice and take communication training.

3. Inadequate financial evidence:

Even though there are no formal tuition fees for public colleges, you still need to cover living costs in Germany. Each student must show appropriate proof of their financial ability to support their lifestyle during their education.

- - - In order to address this, the German government has permitted all students to create a Blocked account (which must have a minimum balance of 8900 Euros) in order for them to cover their monthly costs.
    - English and German confirmations of blocked account opening.
    - Transfer of Blocked Amount Receipt from Your Home Bank (the bank from which you transferred the money to your Deutsche Bank blocked account)
    - Confirmation of the blocked amount receipt (optional if you took out an education loan. Co-two borrower’s years’ worth of ITRs and the loan sanction letter.
    - An affidavit from your sponsor stating that they would pay for your second year of education, which may now be from your parents or other relatives, together with an ITR and a statement of savings for six months if your sponsor is unemployed.

4. Poor interview performance:

You might not be able to persuade the interviewer as to why you choose a specific college or course. If you properly rewrite this question, it will improve your chances of obtaining a visa at the interview. Therefore, it would be best for you to comprehend the needs, adjust all the necessary terms and circumstances, and then reapply.

What you can do after getting Visa Rejection?

1. Make strong documents
  Once you’ve received a visa rejection, your first step is to create strong documentation. In addition to the validation, all required papers must be completely clear such as an APS certificate, health insurance, a blocked account, airline tickets, etc.
2. Learn your faults
  In order to avoid making the same mistakes again, be careful. So make sure you have all the necessary educational documents and the answers to all the questions about your application but be careful not to appear prepared, and simply try to be as confident as you can.
3. Write a letter
  You must appeal to the Embassy in this critical phase in order to reapply for the visa. Your appeal must be written persuasively and include solid arguments, such as the foundation of fact. Additionally, you can then provide more proof to support your eligibility for a Visa (if required). It all relies on the grounds for rejection; if you can refute the visa officer’s judgment with evidence-based reasons, you should reapply; otherwise, it will be a waste of time and money.

After being rejected, a visa can still be obtained. If you found a mistake in your visa application, you may still apply. However, before granting you permission to reapply, a nation’s immigration service could ask you for a copy of the decision to deny you entry.
