htw saar-University of Applied Sciences was established in the year 1971. Located in Saarbrücken, this university offers practice-oriented study programs that combine hands-on skills with a strong theoretical base. This university offers more than 50 full-time degree programs, as well as a growing number of part-time postgraduate professional education programs. Currently, more than 6,000 students are enrolled in this university and 900 of them are international students from 76 countries. This university has 5 schools – the Business School, the School of Architecture and Civil Engineering, the School of Engineering, the School of Social Sciences, and the Franco-German Institute for Technology and Business.
