How to apply for Ausbildung in Germany?

1. Language Requirements

Germany has no formal education requirements for ausbildung. The main requirement is that the applicants should be able to speak, comprehend, and write the German language. Though there are several businesses that have stringent requirements for language certifications. Foreign nationals vying for a spot in an apprenticeship program also need to submit a language certificate to the embassy.

Having at least an A2 level of proficiency is crucial. The good part is, it is relatively easy to get to this level. Some students, depending on their chosen course, may require a B1 or B2 level proficiency certification.

2. Academic Requirements

Completing 11^th or 12^th grade is mostly sufficient. Some courses can also be qualified with a 9^th or 10^thgrade qualification. If you are planning to do a vocational course in Germany, it is advised to make an effort in your studies.
