Germany has no formal education requirements for ausbildung. The main requirement is that the applicants should be able to speak, comprehend, and write the German language. Though there are several businesses that have stringent requirements for language certifications. Foreign nationals vying for a spot in an apprenticeship program also need to submit a language certificate to the embassy.
Having at least an A2 level of proficiency is crucial. The good part is, it is relatively easy to get to this level. Some students, depending on their chosen course, may require a B1 or B2 level proficiency certification.
Completing 11th or 12th grade is mostly sufficient. Some courses can also be qualified with a 9th or 10th grade qualification. If you are planning to do a vocational course in Germany, it is advised to make an effort in your studies.

Your CV should be in Europass format. You can do that on their official website here.
For foreign nationals or foreigners living outside of Germany, an embassy in your home country may require additional paperwork.
In most cases, an embassy will require you to provide 10 to 12 documents. You can obtain a comprehensive list of the documents required for application submission from the German embassy in your country.
Your application for the Ausbildung should be imaginative. Don’t steal someone else’s writing and try to express your own thoughts. Always remember that honesty is the best policy.
